Raven Rock Ramble 2019

Promoting Organ Donation Awareness and benefitting the UNC Kidney Center

The Raven Rock Ramble is a century (100-mile) bicycle ride that explores the four-county area (Wake, Harnett, Lee, and Chatham) around Raven Rock State Park. Proceeds benefit the UNC Kidney Center for direct patient services.  Since its start in 2002, the Raven Rock Ramble has raised over $291,000 toward kidney health and awareness.

The Raven Rock Ramble endorses cyclist safety and responsibility as promoted by The Peleton Project.

Raven Rock Ramble 2019

The 2019 edition of the Raven Rock Ramble went very well for the ~300 riders who braved the weather forecast and enjoyed (mostly) clear skies. I don't think anyone went away hungry, with the subs from Jersey Mike's, the pizzas from Mellow Mushroom, and the hundreds of hot dogs grilled by the fine folks from Certa-Pro painters. I don't have the final numbers yet, but I'm hoping will clear $33,000 for the UNC Kidney Center for their efforts in preventing kidney disease.
