I originally sent this email Sunday night, but my service provider is continuing to have problems
sending email. So, I'm sending again. My apologies if you've received this note more than once.

Here's some info on the Raven Rock registration so far...
- 158 registrations out of 350 have been received (45%)
- 90 of these (57%) are new riders (at least, based on email address, did not register in 2005)
- 56 riders (35%) registered for the 100 mile route
- 68 riders (43%) registered for the 100K route
- 24 riders (15%) registered for the 50K route
- 2 riders (1%) registered for the 10 mile route
- 8 riders (5%) were undecided
Registration numbers are running about a week ahead of last year, which filled in mid-April. So you
know, the only real significance of the distance you specify is which map and cue sheet get put in
your rider package. There will be additional maps and cue sheets available at the start and at the
sag stops, and they'll be available on the routes page at http://ravenrockramble.org/routes.htm
(although I have not yet updated this page for the revised 100 mile route - I'll send a future note
on that topic).
NCBC Spring Rally this Sunday, March 26
If you're interested in a nice ride and getting some early miles in, the North Carolina Bicycle Club
will be hosting their Spring Rally from Lake Wheeler Park on Sunday, March 26. Distances of 100,
62, and 40 miles are available. Day-of-event registration only; details are at
http://www.ncbikeclub.org/ . Hope to see you there!
Cheers,
