From Raleigh...
- Take US 1 South, toward Sanford
- 6 miles beyond Apex, exit at Exit 89, "New Hill"
- Turn left (so as to go south) onto New Hill - Holloman Road
- Go 3.0 miles - the park entrance is on the right
- Follow the signs on the park entrance road to the parking and registration areas.
Note: If you go over a lake on New Hill - Holloman Road, you just missed the park entrance.
From points north and west...
- Exit Interstate 40 at exit 274, Highway 751
- Head south (away from Durham) on Highway 751
- Go straight for 20.6 miles
- at 12.1 miles you cross Highway 64 and continue on New Hill - Olive Chapel Road
- at 16.7 miles you cross Old US 1 and continue on New Hill - Holloman Road
- at 17.6 miles you cross US 1
- at 20.6 miles you arrive at the park entrance (on the right - see above)
